The Limited Edition Giclee line has created an avenue for Welzie to share his wonderful art with more collectors. Our line offers two mediums, gallery wrapped canvas and aluminum. Giclees are a great way to start a collection it is also how you can still get your favorite piece even if the original has sold. We use high quality scans and top of the line printing equipment to create reproductions that look authentic and catch every detail, texture and vibrant color of a Welzie’s artwork. The high-gloss finish translates the look of an original.

What is a Giclee?
"Giclee Prints" are created from a high resolution photograph of original Welzie artwork. The Giclee lines use archival ink that have pigments known to last over 75 years and use cutting edge printing techniques to capture color and detail. The printing process provides brilliant colors and sharper images. Giclees are highly valuable as they are numbered, include signature and a Certificate of Authenticity verifying your edition count.
Artist Proofs
"Artist Proof" Giclees on canvas are offered in select small quantities of 5 per edition. Each Artist Proof is hand embellished using paint pens or acrylic paint. This extra step accentuates, highlights and shadows the details of every piece. You can see each stroke like its an original painting. All Artist Proofs come numbered, titled and with signature they also include a certificate of authenticity. Artist Proofs are a wonderful way to acquire a semi-custom piece that has been personally touched by the artist.
Limited Edition Giclee
Limited Edition Giclees on gallery wrapped canvas stand out because they are controlled in number, hand signed, and individually titled. A 1/50 or 1/20 Limited Edition Giclee makes yours one of the few ever printed in that edition size. This creates added value because there is a finite number of pieces available.
Open Edition Giclee
Open Editions take our most popular Welzie designs and make them available to everyone. They are printed on high-quality paper, matted and hand-signed by Welzie. Open Editions are unlimited in the number printed. We think these are great starters for anyone’s collection.
