Visit Welzie's Signature Gallery
The Welzie Art Gallery is one of Maui's most vibrant fine art destinations — located inside the Andaz Maui at Wailea Resort and home to the largest collection of Welzie's work on the island.
Original fine art, limited edition aluminum giclée reproductions, matted prints, sculptures, and collectibles fill the space with color, whimsy, and the unmistakable energy of Maui. Whether you're a first-time visitor or a returning collector, the gallery is the best place to experience and purchase local Maui art in person.
More than a Gallery
Art Experiences
The gallery is home to more than art, we also have created art experiences, so you can interact with it in multiple ways.
Find the Welzie Art Class and the Welzie Scavenger Hunt both created for kids and adults looking to have fun.
The art class runs daily at 2:00 pm and is designed for ages 7 and up. Guests create their own piece of Welzie-inspired art using the same Posca pens and originals, Welzie uses to make his own art. Leave with both a finished piece and a favorite vacation memory. Reservations required.
The scavenger hunt is a free, self-guided adventure through the Andaz property. Pick up your booklet at the gallery, find all nine hidden stone markers, and bring your completed booklet back to claim your prize.
Artist in Residence
Since 2019
Welzie has been the Artist in Residence at the Andaz Maui since 2019. What began as a gallery has grown into an art world woven throughout the entire property — from lobby installations to floor-by-floor artwork to annual new experiences for guests to discover.
