Why We created the Aluminum Limited Editions
Welzie creates twelve to fifteen originals a year that land in the Gallery. Each one is made by hand — shaped, layered, and finished with the same process used to build a surfboard. And more often than not, they find homes before most collectors ever get the chance to see them.
The limited edition aluminum was born from that reality. A way to make Welzie's work accessible — not as a compromise, but as a continuation. The same image, the same energy, the same joy. Reproduced on aluminum with archival inks and UV protection, in a high-gloss finish that holds the color and presence of the original.

What Makes a Limited Edition Aluminum
Each limited edition aluminum is a reproduction of a Welzie original — printed directly onto aluminum using archival inks with UV protection for long-lasting vibrancy. The high-gloss finish holds the bold color and energy of the original in a format that's built to last.
Every image is produced in a boutique run of just 99 pieces per size. Each piece is hand numbered, hand signed by Welzie, and ships with a Certificate of Authenticity.
Here's where it gets interesting. Each edition of 99 is divided into four tiers of 25 pieces. Every time 25 pieces sell, the price increases for the next tier. Collectors who come in early lock in the best investment level — and as the edition moves through its tiers, the value of every piece already sold moves with it.

After You Purchase
What to Expect
We are so excited for your new piece to find its home. Here's what happens next.
Your artwork is produced upon order and typically takes four to six weeks to complete — unless your gallery consultant has noted otherwise. Once your piece is ready, it comes directly to our gallery where Welzie will hand sign and approve it before it ships.
From there, our team will reach out to coordinate your delivery. Your artwork ships via FedEx two-day air, fully insured as fine art, and requires a signature upon delivery — so we'll work with you to make sure you or someone you trust is available to receive it.
Once it's on its way, you'll receive tracking information directly.

Special Delivery
How to Hang your Art
Your artwork arrives ready to install — and it's easier than you think.
Smaller pieces (12×16 and 14×14) hang with a hook system. You'll need a hammer and a nail. Find your spot on the wall, mark the center, hammer in your nail, and hang. Done.
All other sizes use a French cleat bracket system. You'll need a drill, measuring tape, and a level. Scroll through below to see how it works:
To Hang French Cleats You Will Need:

Choose Your Wall + Measure
Find your center point by measuring your wall end to end.
Take that number and divide by 2 this is the middle of your wall.
Place the center of your bracket at the center of your wall.
Height measurement : Measure the back of your piece from the bottom bracket to the top of your piece and add 1"
This is where your bracket will hang from so keep this in mind when choosing how high on the wall your art hangs.
Secure your Bracket
Once you have measured you place your bracket in the correct place.
Keep it in place, by taping it down
Make sure it is level ( the bubble stays in the center)

Screw your first one in lightly to keep the level in center.
Once correct slowly tighten
Add additional screws to keep the bracket secure and strong
Your Art is Ready
Your piece will hang the distance from the bottom of your bracket + 1"

Frequently Asked Questions
Welzie believes art should be accessible to everybody. That's why the collection spans from $55 matted prints to limited edition aluminums — a larger format at a more attainable price point, especially once an original has already sold.
Your edition number is assigned automatically, following the tier you purchase in — Tier 1 is numbers 1–25, Tier 2 is 26–50, Tier 3 is 51–75, and Tier 4 is 76–99.
As each 25-piece tier sells, the next tier opens at its price point until all 99 are sold. Once an edition sells out completely, it's retired for good and won't be reissued.
Windex and a microfiber cloth — a little firm pressure takes care of it. Every piece is cleaned before it ships, but on rare occasions a bit of production residue may remain; this isn't a defect, just a quick wipe-down away from perfect.
You own the physical piece. Welzie Art retains all copyright and reproduction rights — including the right to reproduce, license, digitize, create derivative works, or use the image in any digital or blockchain-based format (including NFTs). No license, express or implied, is granted with your purchase. This applies to aluminum editions the same as originals, and continues to apply even if the artwork is later resold or gifted.
We'd love to see you with your new piece — tag us @WelzieArt and throw us a shaka! Personal photos of yourself with your artwork, shared for your own enjoyment or on social media, are always welcome. What's not included: reproducing, reprinting, or feeding the image into AI tools to generate new works — those rights stay with Welzie Art. Commercial use requires our written permission.
Please open your artwork within 72 hours of arrival and inspect it. If there's an issue, email us at: info@welzieart.com photos of both the shipment and the damaged piece — our team will evaluate the claim, which typically requires filing an insurance claim with FedEx since every piece ships fully insured via FedEx 2-Day Air. If the damage is confirmed as a shipping issue, we'll replace your piece once the claim process is complete.
